Breathing

Breathing Steps:

  1. You diaphragm moves down as it contracts while your ribs move outwards to create space for the expanding lungs.
  2. When you take a breath, the air travels in the nasal cavity, mouth, pharynx, larynx
  3. Then the air travels through the glottis into the trachea so the air can be filtered
  4. The air splits into the two passageways called the bronchi which leads to the lungs
  5. Air goes in the lungs an into the alveoli which is where the process of gas exchange occurs
  6. Your diaphragm moves up and ribs go inwards as you exhale the CO2 and any other unnecessary gases
